Project Description
While working at Oneupweb, I worked with JVIS to help them reposition their brand and redesign their website. By updating the branding, I was able to help JVIS present themselves as a bleeding edge technology company. I did this by updating the typography, image treatments, and incorporating a geometric pattern. For the redesign I wanted to create better conversion paths. To do this I started by looking at Google Analytics to determine the pages and content users were looking for. From there I created a user experience that provided users with clear paths to the information they were seeking.
Challenges
There were two challenges I worked through with the client on this project. The first one was the brand colors and contrast. Even though I discussed the proper contrast ratio with them, they were set in their colors due to the equity and existing marketing materials. The second challenge was getting them to show more of their process and the “human” side. To do this I created a video of someone creating a sketch of one of their products. This was something that after they saw it they fell in love and were happy that I pushed them.
