Molly Maid Estimator Tool User Flow

This project was completed while working as the Design Manager at Oneupweb.

Molly Maid is a house cleaning franchise organization that has been around for over 35 years with 760 locations across the United States.

Project Description

The Oneupweb team recommended to Molly Maid that they should add an estimator tool to their website in order to keep up with their competition. While the team at Molly Maid agreed with this, their franchisees had questions around how it would work. To answer some of those questions, I created a user flow diagram that showed how a user would move through an estimator tool experience.

This project continued with usability testing of their site and three competitors. In total there were over 50 tests. During the creation of these tests, I collaborated with the UX Research team around the parts of the conversion funnel we should test. Once the tests were completed I also reviewed the test, made UI & UX recommendations, and helped present the research to the client.

Challenges

The most challenging aspect of this project was working with the committee of franchisees. To overcome this challenge I had to be very aware of how I was speaking about the project and limiting the amount of industry or technical terms I used.
